Brisbane eat! First stop for breakfast,
190 Petrie Terrace, Brisbane, QLD, Australia
With garlic butter charred brussel sprouts, kaiserfleisch, roasted potato, beet, rocket leaves, eschallots, fried egg and pane. Brussel sprouts and potato are my kind of food, that is why I love this breaky salad. On top of that, the butter toasted pane is amazing, I can have that by itself anytime any day. I would love to have the salad again.
Breaky cassoulet AU$ 18
With ham hook, truffled pork sausage, speck, white beans, fried egg and pane. Want something warm and filling on cold mornings? Go with the cassoulet. Not the typical cassoulet, mild flavour, more like baked tomato with beans and pork.
In one of the days, you might want to turn your cup of warm coffee into ice pop and lick it, then you should try out this shop.
Queen of Pops
Shop 4, Corner Bayview Terrace & Drane Street, Clayfield, QLD 4011 Australia
Hot Mocha Pop/ Hot Chocolate Pop AU$ 6 each
It literally tastes like having a glass of iced mocha/ chocolate. The flavour is very rich and do not have to worry that it being diluted. Thumbs up!
Cotton Candy flavoured mini cupcake AU$ 6
I got it just because it is pink, haha. As usual, the icing on top is too sweet that I gave up on having more after the first bite. I went ahead with the cake, which is nice, moist and soft.
American bar food
The attitude of the blonde lady who was serving is not quite nice, hmm.
9/401-405 Logan Road, Greenslope, Brisbane QLD 4120 Australia
Criss Cross Chips AU$ 9
Chicken/ Beef Sliders Any 3 sliders for AU$ 15
Average, they look small but 3 of them can fill you up like a usual burger.
The Cuban AU$ 14
Leg ham, slow-cooked pork, double cheese, dill pickles and American mustard on Cuban bread. Have been waiting for this sandwich! I love the cheese. Don’t get scared of the amount of meat in there. They came with their natural flavours and not disturbingly strong, definitely not the salty sandwich that you want to stop eating halfway. I am missing it, I want more.
